May 2013 is the time of the year that all businesses in the area are in full swing, getting ready for the official kickoff of summer, Memorial day weekend. If you are looking for some unique activities you might want to consider the 1800s Lawn Social at the Murrell Home. This event is filled with re-enactments of clothing, music, dancing and lawn games of this period in time. Here are some other activities that you want to consider if you are visiting the area during this time of the year.

May: Movies in the Park, Norris Park

May: Farmer’s Market, Saturdays in Norris Park

May: Cookson Game Refuge access via foot, horse or mountain bike

May 24-26 Memorial Day activities, Tenkiller State Park

Remember at Terrapin Peak Bed, Breakfast & Beyond, there is plenty of boat parking right outside your room. If you are looking to relax after a busy day on the lake in an “away from the crowd” atmosphere we have a room for you if you book early!
